Dear Mona,

After a long time, I got an opportunity to read such an elaborated article about Rudrakshya. Indian Performing Arts Promotions (IPAP), a small non-profit organization at Washington DC has been promoting Rudrakshya tour to USA in 2004, 2008 and 2014. This year they were sponsored by Battery Dance Company of New York but their tour is organized by IPAP.
To me there is no Odissi group can dance as good as Rudrakshya. They are absolutely the best. His choreography is very intricate and very difficult to dance. Only the dancers know how to work hard to accomplish and meet the expectation of Guruji.

Unfortunately, we don’t find too many promoters to present them. Guru Bichitrananda Swain is the best of the best choreographers. His sense of establishing the Purushang as a fundamental rights to perform which was only performed by female until last decade. The astonishing fact is that the dancers don’t dance like females.

I congratulate you for your article. Your article will definitely bring the attention of connoisseurs of Odissi or Indian classical dances.
